Ending the year with some Independence!

 

 I decided that I wanted to finish the year off by show some more independence.

  

 While I was playing with Mama Holly today I started to stand without any one holding onto me.

  

 I just would hold onto the table by myself.

  

I like grabbing onto the table cloth.

  

It was fun watching everyone play games.

  

I am such a big girl!

  

Goodbyes and Hellos

I have had so much fun in California.  I have loved getting to know Ba Pa, Grandma, Aunt Michelle, Uncle Ian, cousins Andrew and Dallin, and other family.  I loved spending Christmas out here!  Now it is time for us to leave and go to Utah.

Ba Pa and Grandma Babysit

 

 This morning we went down to spend a little time with Aunt Michelle, Uncle Ian, and my cousins, Andrew and Dallin, before they left for Tahoe.  I am going to miss them.  They were lots of fun.

  

  

Tonight I get to have Ba Pa and Grandma all to myself.  Mommy and Daddy are leaving to go on a date, so they won't be around to distract Ba Pa and Grandma.  I get will their complete attention!

  

 They are great babysitters!

At Ba Pa and Grandma's house I love to play by the fire.  It is so warm, and I love to watch the bright flames.  It is also in the main part of the house, so I can see everything that is going on while I lay on the floor.

  

  

Merry Christmas!!!

My First Christmas!  Today was full of presents, fun, and especially family.  I loved every minute of it.

 

We started out our Christmas morning to a California White Christmas (aka a heavy frost).  Mommy had to get pictures like she did two years ago at her first California Christmas.

 

 

Then we got to see what we got in our stockings

  

I was excited to find a big present with my stocking

  

I got right down to business and tried to open it right away

  

(I love paper!!!)

  

I got a new toy to play with

Everyone loved me!  I had so much fun meeting everyone.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve has finally arrived!

I had fun playing with family this morning.

Then Mommy, Daddy and I went to look around for a place to take family pictures.

I then got to meet Al, Ba Pa and Grandma's friend, and I decided to take a nap on his lap.

After my nap we took some family pictures (or I should say Mommy took family pictures)

Then it was time for the fun festivities, but I missed out on a lot while I took a nice long nap.

When I woke up I got to open my gifts with Mommy, Daddy, Ba Pa, and Grandpa.

I just love doing this, and I am glad they waited for me.

I love all of the gifts that I got!
