Fort

We made a fort out of the couches cushions today.  It was fun to go inside...
...but when I tried to stand up it fell apart.  Oops!
 Trying to fix it...

I decided that I would just relax on the cushions...

Onto the couch

I have been unable to get onto the couch all by myself...until today.  I figured out a way to get around being to short to get up.  I can push a cushion up, and then I am able to climb right on up.  I had so much fun playing on the couch!

In the pantry

Mommy and Daddy left the door open to the pantry last night.  So this morning while they were still in there room I went to discover what is hidden inside.  When they heard some heavy things falling to the ground they decided that it was time to investigate what I was up too.

I choose you...Geoffrey!

Getting all dressed up.  I love putting on scarves!

Tonight Mommy and Daddy took me to the mall.  While we were there we went into the toy store to get me a new toy.  As soon as I saw the store I knew what I wanted, but it took a little while for Mommy and Daddy to understand.  As soon as Mommy put me down in the store I went right to the window display to get the toy, but it was too high, and Mommy thought I was just trying to climb around.  Finally when I was with Daddy I tried again to get the toy, and thought that a little kid would be a good stepping stool.  Daddy didn't think so, but he finally understood what I was trying to do, and got me Geoffrey the Giraffe!  I held onto him the whole time we were in the store, and only let go when we had to pay for him.  He is hard to carry around because he is as big as me, but I still do it anyway.  I love Geoffrey!

Here I am playing with Geoffrey and Daddy

Smashed finger

I was having so much fun when all of the sudden my finger hurt so much.  Mommy got me and then gave me an ice cube to play with.  It helped my finger feel better, and was a lot of fun.
I would put it into a cup and then try to take it out again...
I also enjoyed sucking on it...
It kept getting smaller until it went away in my mouth.

After a while I felt better, and went back to playing.
This was where I smashed my finger, but it is still a fun place to play in.

Fifteen months

Now I am fifteen months and just a few months away from being old enough for nursery.  I can't wait to go.  There are lots of toys and friends to play with in nursery.

This is some of the things I have done this month...
  • keep climbing higher and higher
  • getting more daring
  • getting faster at running
  • learning more signs
  • learning some sounds
  • saying more words
Here are the pictures Mommy took of me today

 I was done with pictures

Mommy let me relax and watch a show with a blankie when I was sad.

Old toys, new tricks!

I usually use this toy to walk around with, but Mommy and Daddy made it so that I can sit on it.  I am still learning how to make it go forward.

Having fun in my little swing

I love to turn on the music all by myself

New coat

Grandma sent me a fun, sparkly coat for winter
...now we just need the snow!

Trying to figure out how to make it go forward (I've got backwards down)

An evening with Daddy

Mommy was gone when I woke up from my nap today, so I got to spend the whole evening with Daddy.  I loved playing with him, and reading books.  When Mommy got home I was glad to see her, but quickly went back to reading with Daddy.

The wonders of a drawer...

You can put things inside of it (including myself)
You can use it as a step
Great place to read a book
 Somewhere to relax before bedtime
Can't wait to find out what else it can do!

Surprise party!

Daddy planned a surprise party for a friend.  The balloons were so fun, and I like seeing my friend Joshua (he was born just a few weeks before me).
