Church, a walk, and a phone call

This morning Mommy, Daddy, and I went to church a lot earlier than we usually do, but then we got home earlier too.  Because of this we were able to just hang out together for longer.  Mommy and Daddy took me on a really long walk, that I just relaxed and slept through while they talked.  After we got home, Daddy called Grandma Baldus, and I loved being able to talk to her and Daddy at the same time.

Funny day

I went to church today.  It is funny because it is not Sunday, and we ate dinner there.  I got to meet a lot of new people.  After dinner Daddy was helping clean up, and Mommy was left with the coats, bags, car seat, and me, and she needed to somehow move everything to a different spot.  A nice lady offered to help Mommy.  So Mommy handed me over to her, and gathered the stuff together, and then put me into my seat.  We were then able to get out of the way.

Today was a funny day.  I am glad to be back home.

Finger tips

Lately I have discovered the tips of my fingers.  When I am tired I have started to find comfort by sucking on my finger tips.  Mommy will sometimes find me with one, two, or even all of my finger tips in my mouth.  Sometimes I will do this when I am hungry, but usually it just means that I am sleepy.

Tonight while I was spending some time with daddy, we decided to work on strengthening my leg muscles.  I would try to stand up on Daddy's lap, and he would help by holding me up.  I am looking forward to being able to stand up all by myself.

Spike it at eight weeks old

This morning after Mommy fed me I spit up on my clothes so Mommy decided to give me a morning bath.  After my bath Mommy didn't get to brush my hair before it dried, so it ended up drying all spiked.  Daddy liked it so much that he thinks that I should have my hair this way all of the time.

 

 

 

Schedule

Mommy has been trying to be better about having me on a schedule.  I like this because now Mommy is better able to know what it is that I need when I cry, or even take care of me before I cry for something.

Let's ROLL!

Guess what I did for the first time today!?!  I rolled over!!!  I surprised Mommy and Daddy.  They knew that I was getting ready to, but they didn't think that it would be yet.  Now Mommy and Daddy are going to have to watch me more closely.

Wake up laughing

I know what is the best way to wake up is, LAUGHING.  This morning after I woke up I decided to just enjoy some time to myself in my crib.  When Mommy woke up she could hear me talking, and laughing to myself.

After Daddy got home today I got to snuggle with him, and I was so comfortable that I fell asleep.

 

 

 

Laying on Mommy

In the mornings Daddy usually will get me when I wake up, and change my diaper before taking me to Mommy to eat.  This gives me some Daddy time before he leaves, and lets Mommy sleep in a little longer.  Mommy then usually will let me stay in bed with her to rest.  My favorite part is when she lets me sleep on her belly.  Mommy makes a comfortable bed.

 

Talking on the Phone

I love it when Mommy is talking on the phone.  I like it so much that I love to join in on the conversations.
