It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Daddy made this snowman in the middle of a storm today.  This is the first real snowstorm we have had this winter.

We finished getting the Christmas tree all ready for Christmas day.

With the snow and tree done, we are ready for Christmas to come!

Mommy's shoes, and a party

Trying on Mommy's shoes.  They are a little big...

I didn't want to sit on Santa's lap...
but I loved standing in line...
and playing with friends my size...

and playing little red ridding hood...
while Mommy took pictures of everyone at the ward Christmas party.

New playplaces, and things

Mommy was organizing the bottom self on my changing table and I found it to be the perfect place to pretend sleep.

Mommy was putting these shiny, and sparkly balls all over the tree.  I loved playing with them, and found that I can see myself in the shiny ones.

My friend got to come over to play with me tonight.  She came up with a fun game.  She put all the stuffed animals into my crib, then we got in and jumped and played with them, threw them out, and got out to start all over again.

Choosing the Christmas tree

We got to pick out our Christmas tree today!
In search of the right one

 I found it!

 Helping Daddy cut it down
When the tree fell, so did I!
Taking our tree to get ready to go home
 Helping get the tree up
 Putting on the lights

ER

Today was a hard day!  It started out fine, but when I went to play in the pantry I knocked down a can of tomato paste, and it made my pinkie hurt really bad.  I cried out and started walking to Mommy.  She quickly grabbed me, and held me trying to comfort me.  My pinkie was hurting so bad that I just grabbed onto Mommy's hair and pulled trying to make the pain go away.  Mommy knew that something was wrong, but hadn't seen my finger yet.  As soon as she saw that my pinkie was bleeding she went to show Daddy and clean it up.  It was while cleaning my finger they saw that the can has cut through my nail, and into my finger.  They then decided to take me to the ER.  Before we went to the hospital Daddy and a friend gave me a blessing, and then we were off.  I hated the drive with Mommy holding my hand, and it hurting me, but after we got to the hospital I started to feel a little better.  I had a fun time climbing the little chairs and table that were in the waiting room, and then loved jumping and playing around on the bed when we got a room.  After wait for so long I got bored and wanted to run around outside of the room, but Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me, but we did see another friend that was working at the hospital.

Finally the doctor came to look at my finger, and they had to clean it.  It hurt me so much, I hated when they looked at my pinkie.  It also made it start to bleed again.  The doctor had me get and x-ray, but my bone was okay, and he also called another doctor to get suggestions.  I guess my pinkie is too small to do stitches like they normally do.  He finally decided to glue my cut closed.  They cleaned it again, but that just made it hurt and bleed again.  I hated that they tried to hold my hand still, and the glue got everywhere.  The nurse then put a big bandage on my pinkie and the finger next to it.  I was so glad to be done, and go home.

The nurses bandage...

First snow, and more

There's a lot of white stuff everywhere, and some little white things falling from the sky.  It's so pretty, and colds too.  Some of it even fell on my hair and got stuck.

When Daddy got home we played in the snow for a little while.  I enjoyed shoveling it with my lollipop.  We then made a little snowman as a family.

After the snow fun we went inside to warm up and make a chain.  This chain is for our count down to Christmas since it's getting close.  I loved playing with the colorful paper, and doing flips with Daddy.

I picked out our family ornament this year.  It's a snowflake that jingles whenever you shake it.  I love carrying it all around with me!
