September's simple pleasures
We had lots of fun in September.
Playing at a park after being discharged from the hospital, and between Daddy's classes.
On Mommy's birthday we got to have lots of fun at the beach.
Burying cousin Andrew
Jumping for a birthday picture. No feet or ankles were hurt in the taking of this picture (unlike last year).

Jumping into the huge hole we dug.
Had to ride the carousel at Howarth Park.
Learn how to shoot spit wads….check!
At the end of another beach day we almost had a little stowaway ride home from the beach with us.
Flower girl
*Sadly this is the best picture we took. We hope to get some of the better pictures soon.
Modeling a cute hat.

First ambulance ride
Tonight we took our first ambulance ride. It was a transfer from one hospital to another.
Elizabeth in the ER of the first hospital:

Then off to the ambulance for a 2+ hour transfer:

Strapped in like a race car driver:

On the way the ambulance got to use its lights when a car crash happened right in front of us and we stopped to help out. Elizabeth slept right through it. Amazingly the lady in the crash walked away without a scratch thanks to wearing a seatbelt.

Finally made it safe and sound to the second hospital to get some rest and work on learning how to spell.
