Sitting and playing with my aunt and cousins

This morning when Mommy came to get me, she pulled me up by my hands, and I surprised her by sitting up really well all by myself. She then took me into the front room to show Daddy, Ba Pa and Grandma.

I am glad that they finally feel all better.

My cousins, Andrew and Dallin, are so excited for Christmas that they couldn't wait for Mommy, Daddy and I to open the gift that they made for us.

  

  

We also let them help us open one of our family gifts

  

I love tearing the paper,

  

but it's also fun watching my cousins.

  

We got another Christmas movie.  It's one that Mommy watched all the time as a little girl.

 This morning I enjoyed laying on the floor and making some silly faces.

 

  

I especially had fun with my tongue, blowing raspberries and such.

  

Later I got a hold of Daddy's new travel mouse.  The cord it retractable, so I had fun pulling on it, and seeing how long it can get.

  

 Oh, and Happy first day of Winter!  Though it's not very wintry here in Sunny California!

Christmas, Four Months, and Flying in the Sky

I am four months old today, and what a busy day we have had!  But before I tell you all about it I am going to tell you what I have been learning to do this month.

~Doing a little bit a sitting by myself (not for very long yet)
~Grab onto my toes, and legs (I love to do this!)
~Standing by all by myself (for a second before Mommy or Daddy catches me)
~Drinking water out of a big cup (with help)
~Getting really close to rolling (but I like to keep Mommy and Daddy in suspense)
~Getting a better grip on things
~and I am getting a lot more control of my movements

As for my size, I will not be going to the doctor for about a month, but...
~Clothing: 3-6 months
~Diaper: Size 2

Now about today...

Now it's time to go on an airplane to meet Ba Pa and Grandma Baldus!

 

I like the bed that Daddy made for me, and I also got to play with Mommy's treat.  I had a great time on the flight and slept most of the time.  I only woke up when we were landing because Daddy had to put my new bed away.

 

After we got off the plane we got a surprise...Ba Pa, Grandma, and my cousins Andrew and Dallin met us right outside of Security.  They couldn't wait see me!

Christmas Eve {For Mommy, Daddy, and Me}

Even though it is not really Christmas Eve, Mommy, Daddy, and I are celebrating it since we are going to be leaving tomorrow.  We are going to be spending Christmas with Ba Pa and Grandma Baldus this year.  I can't wait to meet them.

We got some really cool small cars that Daddy can make go all around the floor.  I love to watch it move and I like that lights turn on when it is moving.

 

Snowing for a White Christmas tomorrow!  I can't wait to open more gifts.
