My Valintine Package

 Playing in the sink again.  Such a happy place!

 

Ba Pa and Grandma sent me my first Valentine in the mail.

  I liked the tissue paper...

  the cute new clothes...

 and the card that they sent to me!

  Trying to open the bad all by myself.  I haven't quite mastered it yet...but I will soon enough!

Little nightgown

This cute little nightgown is one that Mama Holly made.  Mommy had one exactly like it when she was a baby, and she may have even worn this one.  It is so pretty, and feminine.  No one can mistake me for a boy in this.

This s how to fly...

First off you get into the proper position, on your tummy.

 

Then you stretch out one arm as far as it can go...

  

followed quickly by the other arm stretching in the opposite direction.

  

You are now ready for lift off!  Have a great flight!

After having mastered flying, I decided to move onto ironing Daddy's shirt.

  

 Mommy wasn't too sure about that one.

Mommy's project

 

This morning after Mommy had changed my diaper, I turned myself around to be sideways on the changing table.

  

Today Mommy started to work on a project with some really fun stuff.  I liked to try and grab it, and look at it.

  

  

  

 Can't wait to see it when it's all finished!

My Shoes and Rubber Ducky

When Mommy and Daddy first told family that I was in Mommy's tummy, they used these little ballerina shoes.  Today Daddy decided to try them on me to see if they would fit.  Even though they are only a size 0-3 they fit.  I love the pretty ribbons on them.

 

 

I got to take another bath in the big tub, and I got to meet my Rubber Ducky!

 

 I love the bright color, and to chew on it!

  

I also had fun with the bright green cup Mommy and Daddy use to rinse me off.  I loved switching back and forth between reaching for the Ducky or the cup.  I couldn't make up my mind.  Oh, and I also tried to get the shiny drain, but that didn't work to well.

Mommy's necklace

Mommy was wearing a very special necklace today.  It is the one that Daddy made for her from an Abalone shell that he found on the beach the first time Mommy went out to California.  It is very pretty, and I love looking at it, and trying to taste it too.

Back onto my Tummy!

Today when Mommy turned her back for a minute I found Mommy's books that were just above me on the couch.  I quickly grabbed them down, and found that in one of them there was a fun toy.   I loved the ribbon tied on the top.

 

Mommy quickly came back and found me enjoying her bookmark.

  

So, I like to keep Mommy and Daddy on there toes.  You may remember that I surprised them when I finally rolled onto my back last month.  Well...I did it again!

  

Mommy and Daddy were relaxing in front of a show, and had placed me onto my back facing them (away from the TV).  After a while of trying to turn my head to see the TV, I finally was able to roll onto my tummy to better watch the show.  Mommy and Daddy did not notice me doing this, and it wasn't until Mommy glanced down at me, that she realized what had happened.

  

SURPRISE!  I now know how to roll both ways!

Now that I have mastered rolling onto my back, I am working on going to my stomach.

 

 Reaching for my toys are great ways to help me work on this.

 Sometimes Mommy or Daddy helps me when I get a bit frustrated, but ...

  

 I usually just roll back onto my tummy to try again.

My bedtime

When it is time for me to go to bed we have a routine.  We all read scriptures and say family prayer, I get all wrapped up in my blankets, and then I get to snuggle with Mommy or Daddy while they sometimes read me another book or so.  After all of this comes my favorite part...the songs.  Mommy and Daddy will sing to me, and place me into my crib and sing a little bit more.  I then get lots of nigh-night kisses, and then they blow on the stars to make them shimmer, and leave me to find my own sweet dreams.
